Retailers and wholesalers buying and selling fish in markets or shops must register to support traceability, fair weights and measures, and hygiene in public trading areas.
Eligibility
Shop or market stall operator in Puntland; valid lease or market allocation; scales and measures compliant with local standards.

- Register business name and trading location
- Declare average daily throughput
- Hygiene inspection of stall or shop front
- Pay trader licence fee
- Display licence at point of sale

Important notice
